Unity and Gratitude: Buka Puasa Dinner at Borneo Cultures Museum

KUCHING: In the spirit of Ramadan, Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim hosted a special Buka Puasa dinner at the Borneo Cultures Museum yesterday, fostering unity and gratitude among the attendees.

The event saw a heartwarming assembly of family, friends, media representatives, and members of various organisations. Among the invited guests were members of the Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (SABERKAS) Batu Kitang branch and the Sarawak Motorsports Association.

Adding to the occasion’s significance, Batu Kitang assemblyman Datuk Lo Khere Chiang and Sarawak E-sports Association (SESA) president Afiq Fadhli Narawi were also in attendance. Their presence further highlighted the event’s importance in strengthening community ties and promoting social harmony.

Guests were treated to a delightful spread of both traditional and contemporary dishes, symbolising the richness of Sarawak’s culinary heritage. The diverse menu catered to all tastes, enhancing the communal experience of sharing a meal together.

Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim expressed his appreciation for the presence of all guests, emphasising the importance of togetherness during this sacred month. “Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and unity. It is heartwarming to see people from all walks of life coming together in this beautiful setting to share a meal and strengthen friendships,” he said.
