Yacutha Lights Up the Night with Spectacular Fashion Show at Urban Residences
KUCHING, 1 May 2025 — Local fashion icon Yacutha lit up the runway at Urban Residences last night with a cultural fashion showcase that captured the heart of Sarawak’s creative scene. The event, held in collaboration with Interhill Property, celebrated not only fashion but the spirit of community and local talent.

The show featured bold designs inspired by Sarawak’s diverse culture and surroundings, and featured some of Kuching’s brightest young modelling talents.
Young Talents Steal the Show
Yacutha, known for her vibrant and expressive fashion, was full of praise for the local models. “You slayed it like international models!” she said. “You all are my inspiration. Keep doing your best and always be kind.” She also gave a heartfelt mention to local bag designer @kesya_fatin, calling her handcrafted creations “funtabulous”.
A Vision Born from Collaboration
In her speech, Caroline Yeo, Deputy General Manager of Interhill Property, shared the background of this meaningful collaboration. “We started planning this last year. Yacutha and I wanted to do more than just a fashion show. We wanted a platform to showcase not only her designs but also the works of other local talents,” she said.
She also expressed gratitude to Interhill Group’s leadership including Datin Lau Ngok Yung, Mdm Rogina Hu, and Mr Chin Kok Onn for their continued support of local creative efforts.
Supporting Local, Building Community
Interhill Property has a strong reputation for giving back to the community, and this event aligns with that mission. Caroline shared how the Urban Gallery at Urban Residences is already featuring local artworks and how similar efforts will continue in future collaborations.
“Tonight’s show is just the beginning,” she added. “We hope to see our local talents shine not just here in Kuching, but across Malaysia and beyond.”
A Stylish Celebration of Culture
Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with cultural pride, modern elegance, and Sarawak-inspired fashion. With the success of this event, Yacutha and Interhill Property have proven that local collaborations can create world-class experiences.
