KUCHING, 22 February 2025 (Saturday) – The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak is making its presence felt at the Borneo International Consumer Expo 2025, held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from 20 to 23 February 2025. Through its Road and Corporate Safety Unit (UKJRK), JPJ Sarawak is actively engaging with the public to promote road safety awareness and provide essential services.

JPJ’s Interactive Booth and Mobile Services
At the expo, JPJ Sarawak has set up an exhibition booth where visitors can receive advisory services on road safety measures, including the importance of wearing SIRM-approved helmets and bright-colored clothing for better visibility on the road. This initiative aims to educate road users and encourage safer driving habits among Malaysians.

In addition, JPJ has deployed its Mobile Van Services to make transactions more convenient for expo visitors. These mobile services allow attendees to renew their driving licenses, road tax, and access MyJPJ applications on-site, eliminating the need for a trip to the JPJ office.
Fun and Rewards for Visitors
Visitors to the JPJ Sarawak booth can also participate in an interactive quiz session, where they stand a chance to win exciting prizes by answering questions related to road safety. This initiative not only makes learning about road regulations engaging but also rewards those who take an interest in road safety practices.
The Borneo International Consumer Expo 2025 serves as a valuable platform for JPJ Sarawak to connect with the public, offering both education and essential services under one roof. With its commitment to road safety and convenience, JPJ Sarawak continues to enhance public awareness and accessibility to its services. — JPJ Negeri Sarawak
