KUCHING, 4th December – The historic Old Court House Auditorium resonated with the mesmerizing charm of Vienna as A Romantic Evening in Vienna transported Kuchingites into a world of classical music splendor.

The event was a spellbinding celebration of musical mastery, featuring world-renowned performers. Indonesian soprano Vetalia Pribadi captivated the audience with her powerful vocals, Singaporean violinist Mac Chang showcased breathtaking skill, and Belgian pianist Gilbert De Greeve enchanted with his graceful artistry on the piano.

Starting at 7:30 PM, the concert transformed the venue into a melodic escape, reminiscent of Vienna’s rich classical heritage. Every performance was a tribute to the cultural heart of Europe, leaving the audience entranced.

Organized by the International Music House Group Kuching, the event was a highlight of the Sarawak International Festival of Music and Arts (SIFMA). This year’s SIFMA boasts an exciting array of showcases, including SIFMA Music, SIFMA Dance, SIFMA Fashion, and the grand SIFMA Orchestra. The festival theme, “Immerse in cultural vibrancy at SIFMA – Celebration of the Arts in Global Unity!”, reflects its mission to unite people through art.

Kuchingites can look forward to more world-class performances on December 7th and 8th at 7:30 PM, hosted at the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (New DUN). SIFMA continues to be a global celebration, bringing together diverse cultures through music and arts.

The success of A Romantic Evening in Vienna reinforces Kuching’s reputation as a cultural hub. The event left the audience inspired and excited for the upcoming festival highlights, showcasing how music truly unites the world.
