According to Bomba, the driver lost control of his car before it veered off the road. Fortunately, concerned members of the public quickly stepped in to help. The victim was successfully pulled from the driver’s seat before firefighters arrived at the scene.

“The victim was given initial treatment by paramedics before being transported to the hospital by ambulance,” Bomba said in a statement.

The extent of the man’s injuries has not been disclosed, but sources confirm that he was in serious condition when taken to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. Motorists using Jalan Tatau-Bintulu are advised to remain cautious, especially during wet weather, as slippery roads can increase the risk of accidents.
