Kuching, 15 March 2025 As the blessed month of Ramadan continues, the spirit of giving and community service remains strong in Sarawak. Dato’ Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, the Chief Political Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak and Tupong’s elected representative, took the opportunity to contribute to the community by distributing 100 containers of dalca to road users near Darus Salam Mosque, Kampung Matang Batu 10.

The charitable act was part of a larger initiative organized by the JKKK Kampung Matang Batu 10, PBB Kampung Matang Batu 10, and Darus Salam Mosque. The event also featured a Breaking the Fast ceremony at the mosque, strengthening the bond among the local community.

Dato’ Fazzrudin highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a time of giving, unity, and spiritual reflection.

“Alhamdulillah, the month of Ramadan is beautiful. Everyone is striving to earn rewards through charity, attending congregational prayers, and helping our neighbors. In this blessed month, every good deed is multiplied. Hopefully, all acts of worship and kindness we perform throughout Ramadan will be accepted and blessed, InsyaAllah,” he said.

As an influential leader in Sarawak, Dato’ Fazzrudin has consistently demonstrated his commitment to community welfare. His involvement in grassroots initiatives, such as food distributions and religious events, reinforces his dedication to serving the people of Tupong.

Born on December 15, 1975, in Kuching, Sarawak, Dato’ Fazzrudin pursued his secondary education at SMK St. Joseph. Before his current political role, he served as the Political Secretary to Fadillah Yusof, gaining valuable experience in governance and public service.

With initiatives like this, the Ramadan spirit continues to shine in Sarawak, bringing people together in a meaningful way.
