Jom Masak Bubur Lambuk Perpaduan Strengthens Community Bonds Nationwide

SIBU, 15 March 2025 – The Ministry of National Unity, through the Department of National Unity and National Integration (JPNIN), is organizing the Jom Masak Bubur Lambuk Perpaduan and Iftar Harmoni events at 118 locations nationwide throughout Ramadan. This initiative aims to foster goodwill and unity among Malaysians, particularly in Rukun Tetangga (RT) areas.

Promoting Unity Through Ramadan Traditions

The event brings together people of all backgrounds to prepare and distribute Bubur Lambuk, a traditional porridge that is commonly shared during Ramadan. This program is not just about food—it’s about strengthening the spirit of togetherness and cooperation in local communities.

118 Locations Nationwide Celebrate Togetherness

With 118 locations participating, this initiative allows people from diverse backgrounds to come together, cook, and break fast in a spirit of harmony. The Iftar Harmoni ceremonies create opportunities for cross-cultural understanding, strengthening Malaysia’s multi-ethnic society.

Community leaders, RT members, and volunteers actively participate in the event, reinforcing the importance of mutual respect and cooperation among Malaysians.
