BINTULU – A Thanksgiving Ceremony marking the state-level Malaysia Day 2025 celebration was held at the Assyakirin Mosque on Monday evening, emphasizing unity and spiritual reflection.

The event was attended by Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, alongside key state officials including Speaker of the Sarawak Legislative Assembly Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar and Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

The ceremony began with congregational Maghrib prayers led by Sarawak Grand Imam Datuk Mustapha Kamal Ahmad Fauzi, followed by recitations of Surah Yasin and zikir marhaban chants performed by the Gabungan Kumpulan Zikir Bahagian Bintulu.
