KUCHING – The Senior Officers Football Match 2025 brought together top-ranking police officers in Sarawak for a lively and meaningful sporting event at the Football Field, Sarawak State Stadium yesterday.
The highlight of the evening was the clash between the Dato’ PJP Sarawak Team, led by Sarawak Police Commissioner YDH CP Dato’ Mancha Anak Ata, and a combined team of Southern Zone District Police Chiefs and senior Kuching IPD officers.
The event began with a warm gathering and a commemorative photo session before kick-off. The match was played in an atmosphere filled with sportsmanship, camaraderie, and good cheer. Both sides showcased strong teamwork and discipline, reflecting the unity and harmony within the police force.
On the field, the Dato’ PJP Sarawak Team proved dominant, securing a 3-1 victory over their opponents. The game was marked by entertaining action and a high level of fighting spirit from both teams, much to the delight of the spectators.
In his short address, Dato’ Mancha emphasized that such activities go beyond sports. “Events like this enhance the spirit of teamwork and strengthen friendship and cooperation among senior officers from different districts and departments within the PDRM,” he said.

The event was also attended by several key figures, including YBhg Datin Jennita Ak William, Chairman of Sarawak Contingent PERKEP; YDH SAC Lim San Aik, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department; YDH SAC Dr. Parusuraman Subramanian, Head of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department; YDH SAC Rizal Bin Abd Rahman Sidek, Head of the Management Department; and Puan Jesselyn Roland Desmond, Chairman of the Kuching IPD PERKEP.
