Real Madrid vs Levante

Rising Star Mastantuono Scores First Goal as Real Madrid Outclass Levante

Real Madrid continued their flawless start to the LaLiga season as they defeated Levante 4-1 away at the Estadi Ciutat de València on Tuesday. The victory keeps Los Blancos top of the table after six straight wins, heightening the pressure on title rivals.

From the outset, Madrid showed dominance, and they broke the deadlock in the 28th minute. Vinícius Júnior, often criticized in recent weeks, marked this night with a moment of magic, curling a shot with the outside of his boot beyond Levante’s goalkeeper.

Shortly before halftime, teenage forward Franco Mastantuono opened his scoring account for Real, finishing off a sharp counterattack set up by Vinícius.

Levante emerged from the break more aggressive, and in the 54th minute, Etta Eyong pulled one back after a scrambled rebound found its way past Thibaut Courtois. However, any Levante momentum was extinguished by Kylian Mbappé, who struck twice in quick succession.

A cheeky Panenka-style penalty in the 64th minute followed by a composed finish two minutes later sealed the result for Madrid.

Real Madrid’s coach, Xabi Alonso, praised the performance as “very complete,” noting the squad’s depth and cohesion. With this win, Madrid remain undefeated in LaLiga and stand five points clear of Barcelona, who have a game in hand. Levante, meanwhile, must regroup quickly as they slip towards the lower half of the table.

Looking ahead, Madrid gear up for the city derby against Atlético, while Levante seek a response in their next fixture. With confidence high, Real Madrid appear poised to maintain their title push.
