Warm Reunion: TYT Sarawak Attends Dinner with Malaysia’s Defence Minister

KUALA LUMPUR – The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, attended a dinner hosted in honour of YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, the Minister of Defence of Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur last night.

The event, held at one of the city’s leading hotels, brought together close friends and former parliamentary colleagues from the 1990s in a warm and cordial atmosphere. The dinner served as a meaningful reunion that reflected the enduring bonds of friendship among national leaders who have shared decades of public service and camaraderie.

Among the guests present were Tan Sri Bustari Yusuf and wife Puan Sri Johrah Abdul Rahman, Dato’ Mohamed Raffe Chekku and wife Datin Nilufar Sharof, as well as Puan Eda Ahmad from OBYU. The informal gathering provided a relaxed setting for discussions, lighthearted conversations, and reflections on shared experiences from their years of service.

During the event, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi expressed his appreciation for the presence of YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and the invited guests. He noted that such gatherings not only rekindle old friendships but also strengthen mutual respect and cooperation across different fields of leadership.

He also conveyed his hope that the long-standing friendship and spirit of togetherness among those present would continue to grow stronger in the years to come, contributing to national unity and goodwill.

The evening concluded with a group photography session and friendly exchanges, marking an end to a memorable night that celebrated unity, respect, and enduring friendship. – TYT Sarawak
