GYEONGJU – High-level financial discussions between Malaysian and American officials have further solidified bilateral economic cooperation. The meeting between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and United States Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent addressed multiple aspects of the countries’ financial relationship.
The engagement built upon the positive momentum generated during recent diplomatic exchanges, including the visit of President Donald Trump to Kuala Lumpur. Secretary Bessent conveyed Malaysia’s appreciation for the hospitality extended to the American delegation during their stay.
