JOHOR BAHRU – His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim granted an audience to prominent businessman Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Albukhary on 6 December at Istana Pasir Pelangi.

The meeting underscored the close ties between the monarchy and leading figures in Malaysia’s corporate and philanthropic circles.

During the session, Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar presented His Majesty with several copies of Islamic scholarly works, offered as souvenirs to mark the occasion.

The gesture reflected Syed Mokhtar’s longstanding commitment to Islamic education and cultural preservation.

Known for his philanthropic initiatives, he has consistently supported projects that promote religious scholarship and community development.

His presentation of the books symbolised an effort to strengthen appreciation for Islamic knowledge within the nation’s leadership.

The audience at Istana Pasir Pelangi highlighted Sultan Ibrahim’s openness to engaging with influential personalities across different sectors.
