PIBG Strengthens Education and Student Development at SK Ulu Binatang

MERADONG – The Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) of SK Ulu Binatang has been recognised as a vital partner in advancing education and student development, particularly in rural areas.

Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing, speaking at the SK Ulu Binatang PIBG Dinner on Friday, highlighted the association’s contributions through cleaning programmes, financial assistance, academic support, and community involvement.

He stressed that such initiatives strengthen the school’s educational environment and help instil discipline and positive behaviour among students.

“The close cooperation of all stakeholders will ensure that SK Ulu Binatang will continue to excel academically and co-curricularly by creating students’ understanding of good behaviour and avoiding negative attitudes such as cheating,” he said.

Datuk Ding also praised the dedication of teachers at SK Ulu Binatang, noting their commitment despite the challenges of working in rural schools.

He commended their efforts in teaching, guiding, researching, and nurturing students, often investing personal time, energy, and resources to ensure children receive sufficient knowledge.

He emphasised that the collaboration between teachers, parents, and the PIBG is crucial in shaping students’ academic success and character development.

Such partnerships, he added, are essential in producing well-rounded individuals capable of contributing positively to society.

The event underscored the importance of community involvement in education, particularly in rural districts where resources may be limited.

By working together, schools and parents can create a supportive environment that empowers students to achieve excellence both in academics and co-curricular activities.

SK Ulu Binatang’s PIBG continues to play a pivotal role in ensuring that education remains a priority, reinforcing the belief that collective responsibility is key to nurturing future generations.
