TYT Sarawak Returns Safely from Japan Official Visit

KUALA LUMPUR – His Excellency TYT Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, have safely returned to Malaysia this morning after completing their two-week official holiday in Japan. The couple arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 5.00 am, accompanied by their immediate family members.

The arrival was warmly received by senior officers from the Sarawak State Chief Executive’s Office and the Chief Liaison Officer of Sarawak House Kuala Lumpur, Encik Awang Supian Awang Daud, together with other relevant officials. Upon touching down, Tun Pehin Sri and his family participated in a prayer led by Tuan Haji Ahmad Zamri Shah bin Mohd. Jeman, Head of Ceremonial and Protocol Section at the Office of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, as a gesture of gratitude for a safe journey.

During their visit to the Land of the Rising Sun, Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan had the opportunity to experience Japan’s rich cultural heritage and modern technological advancements. The official vacation also allowed them a chance to take a break from their busy schedules and spend quality time with their family members, while observing aspects of Japan’s rapid development that could provide inspiration for Sarawak’s ongoing development initiatives.

The safe return of the Sarawak State Chief and his wife marks the conclusion of a well-planned official holiday that combined leisure with learning. Their visit reinforces the importance of cultural exchange and the benefits of observing international advancements that can influence local development strategies.

This trip highlights Malaysia’s continuing ties with Japan and reflects the state leadership’s commitment to balancing public service with family and personal well-being.
