Ops Gempur reflects JPJ’s ongoing commitment to continuous enforcement. Regular patrols and inspections aim to raise awareness among drivers, instil discipline, and reduce accidents caused by negligence or non-compliance.

The initiative was welcomed by the community, who noted that consistent enforcement serves as a deterrent and encourages responsible driving.

JPJ Mukah stated it will continue to intensify operations as part of its long-term plan to create a safer road environment across the district.

This operation forms part of JPJ Sarawak’s broader efforts to strengthen road safety culture statewide, ensuring that private and commercial vehicles meet required standards and contribute to safer journeys for all road users.
