SIBU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Sibu District acted promptly on Sunday evening after receiving an emergency call regarding a suspected stroke case at Jalan Wong Ting Hock.

The alert was made at 7.07pm by members of the public, prompting immediate deployment of a response team to the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim lying in bed, attended by family members.

Initial medical checks were carried out at the scene before the patient was transferred to hospital for further treatment. Throughout the journey, the individual remained in stable condition, according to APM officers.
