JPJ Sarawak expressed gratitude to GIATMARA Miri for extending the invitation and supporting the initiative. The department emphasised that such collaborations are vital in instilling discipline and awareness among young drivers and riders, particularly those just beginning their training.

The programme also underscored the role of education in shaping responsible road users. By engaging trainees early in their learning journey, JPJ hopes to cultivate habits that prioritise safety and respect for traffic rules.

Road safety remains a pressing issue in Sarawak, where motorcycles and small vehicles are widely used for daily commuting. Authorities have consistently stressed the need for awareness campaigns and training sessions to reduce accident rates and improve public safety.

Community stakeholders welcomed the effort, noting that initiatives like these can help foster a culture of caution and responsibility. With more young people entering the workforce and relying on motorcycles for mobility, the importance of safe driving practices has become increasingly significant.
