MIRI – The tradition of festive visits continued this Chinese New Year as Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts and Piasau State Assemblyman, visited three families of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) veterans in Taman Piasau.
The visit, held on the 11th day of the 2026 Chinese New Year celebration, has become an annual practice for Ting.
Each year, he makes time to meet with party veterans as a gesture of appreciation for their contributions and to strengthen bonds of friendship.
