JOHOR BARU (17-May): In a tragic and shocking incident early this morning, two policemen lost their lives and another was injured when an unidentified assailant attacked the Ulu Tiram police station along Jalan Kota Tinggi.

Details of the Attack

The brutal attack occurred at approximately 2:54 AM. The assailant reportedly shot at and hacked the policemen, causing fatal injuries to two officers. The third officer, though injured, managed to survive the attack. The assailant was also killed during the confrontation.

Official Statements

Johor police chief M. Kumar was present at the scene and confirmed the incident. However, further details have not been disclosed at this time. Authorities are expected to release more information as the investigation progresses.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain is en route to the location, signaling the gravity of the situation and the high-level attention it has garnered.
