Saberkas Daro Branch Charts Annual Activities at Exco Meeting

DARO – The Saberkas Daro Branch convened its Exco and Unit meeting on 14 March 2026 at the N.43 Daro Service Centre, presided over by YB Dr Haji Safiee Bin Haji Ahmad, Assemblyman for Daro.

Dr Safiee, who also serves as the Secretary General of Sarawak State Saberkas and Chairman of the Daro Branch, led discussions on a range of annual programmes aimed at strengthening youth engagement and community development.

Among the key activities outlined were preparations for the upcoming TGM Meeting, the President’s Cup Futsal Competition, KASUS, and the Saberkas Prihatin Programme.

These initiatives reflect Saberkas’ commitment to fostering unity, encouraging sportsmanship, and supporting welfare efforts within the community.

Meanwhile, the Saberkas Prihatin Programme will continue to provide assistance to those in need, reinforcing the organisation’s role in community care.

Dr Safiee emphasised the importance of planning and coordination in ensuring the success of these programmes.

He noted that Saberkas has long been a platform for nurturing leadership among young people, while also serving as a bridge between grassroots communities and state-level initiatives.

The meeting also highlighted the role of Saberkas in promoting inclusivity and encouraging volunteerism. By engaging members in both sporting and welfare activities, the organisation aims to instil values of teamwork, responsibility, and compassion.

Local leaders and members present at the meeting expressed their support for the planned activities, noting that Saberkas continues to play a vital role in shaping youth development in Daro.
