Participants included members of the forestry sector who took part in technical briefings and practical sessions on using the portal system. The hands-on training helped participants better understand the submission process and how digital tools reduce administrative delays.

The Forest Licence Portal forms part of Sarawak’s wider digitalisation effort in natural resource management. Through the use of technology, authorities aim to manage forestry activities more efficiently while maintaining regulatory oversight.
