TYT Sarawak Urges Rakyat to Cherish Family and Eid Traditions

KUCHING – Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, together with Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, extended warm greetings of Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin to all Muslims in Sarawak.

In his message, TYT Tun highlighted that the month of Syawal represents a period of victory and divine blessings following the month of Ramadan, which is filled with spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and heightened awareness of faith.

He encouraged the public to celebrate Aidilfitri with pure hearts and calm minds, embracing the spirit of forgiveness while strengthening bonds of friendship and family ties. “Celebrate Aidilfitri with your loved ones, treasure every moment with those dear to you, and embrace the beauty of visiting relatives and the resonating takbir as an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT,” said TYT Tun.

TYT Tun also expressed his prayers for safe journeys for those returning to their hometowns and wished that all matters would be eased during this festive season. He hoped that this year’s Aidilfitri would bring sincere blessings, peace, and happiness to the people of Sarawak, while reinforcing unity and harmony across the state.
