APM Mukah Safely Removes Ring-Necked Snake from Vehicle

MUKAH – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Mukah handled a snake removal case on 20 March 2026 after receiving an emergency call from residents.

The incident involved a ring-necked snake, about one metre long, found resting on the bonnet of a car. Alarmed by the sight, residents contacted APM Mukah for help.

A response team arrived shortly after, equipped with proper tools and protective gear. Using a pincer technique, the officers captured the snake safely without harming it or putting anyone at risk.

The situation was brought under control quickly, with no injuries or complications reported. Officers checked the area before wrapping up the operation.
