KUCHING – The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, has conveyed his warmest wishes to His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor Darul Ta’zim, on the occasion of the Sultan’s Official Birthday, observed on 23 March 2026, which coincides with 3 Syawal 1447 Hijrah.
Together with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, the Governor expressed heartfelt wishes for the Sultan’s continued good health, prosperity, and divine guidance. Their message reflected the deep respect and longstanding ties between Sarawak and Johor’s royal institutions.
In addition to extending congratulations to the Sultan, the Governor and his wife also offered warm greetings to Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, the Queen Mother, and the Johor Royal Family. They prayed for the family’s enduring well-being and protection under Allah SWT.
The Governor emphasised the importance of the Sultan’s leadership in guiding Johor with wisdom and sovereignty. He expressed hope that the Sultan’s reign would continue to safeguard the people and bring prosperity to the state. “Her Majesty Tuanku will continue to reign on the throne with full sovereignty, protect the people and lead the country with wisdom, prosperity and blessings,” he said.
