DBKU Cares Extends Aid to Fire Victims in Kampung Samariang Lama

KUCHING – Kuching North City Hall (DBKU), through its DBKU Cares initiative, stepped in to assist families affected by a fire in Kampung Samariang Lama early this morning.

The fire broke out around 12:05 am at a house along Jalan Semariang in Petra Jaya. The property was home to nine people from two families, the Mohd Adzhar and Alhatta families.

All occupants managed to escape safely, with no injuries reported. For now, they are staying with relatives in Bandar Baru Samariang while sorting out their next steps.
