The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Mukah responded right away. A team was sent to the scene, where they carefully handled the situation using a pincer technique. The cobra was captured without any trouble, and no one was hurt.

The incident showed how prepared the team is when dealing with wildlife emergencies. Encounters like these aren’t rare in Sarawak, where homes often sit close to natural habitats. That makes fast, trained responses even more important.

APM Mukah thanked the public for reporting the sighting quickly. They stressed that community awareness plays a big role in keeping everyone safe. The sooner authorities know, the faster they can act.

They also reminded residents not to deal with dangerous animals on their own. It’s always safer to call professionals. For emergencies, APM Mukah is available 24 hours at 084-872814 or through the national emergency line, 999.

Their motto, “APM Mukah, Nang Steady”, reflects their readiness, while their slogan, “There is a Disaster, Call APM”, keeps the message simple: help is always within reach.
