SIBU – As Ops Hari Raya Aidilfitri (HRA) 2026 draws to a close, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to road safety.
The department stressed that enforcement and monitoring will continue beyond the festive season, particularly in areas identified as accident-prone.
JPJ Sarawak explained that surveys and patrols will be carried out periodically to safeguard lives and reduce risks on the road.
The department emphasised that its mission extends beyond festive operations, with continuous efforts aimed at ensuring safer journeys for all motorists.
In a statement, JPJ expressed its appreciation to agency partners who collaborated throughout the operation.
The department highlighted that the close cooperation demonstrated during Ops HRA reflects a shared responsibility in prioritising the safety and well-being of road users.
