Upon arrival, APM personnel were guided by the complainant to the precise location of the nest. The team, equipped with protective gear and specialised tools, prepared to carry out the operation.

Using a combination of Ridsect insecticide and fire suppression techniques, the officers systematically destroyed the stinger nest. The area was subsequently inspected and confirmed safe for residents.

Stinger nests, particularly those located near residential areas, pose a significant threat due to the aggressive nature of the insects when disturbed.

The APM’s prompt intervention highlights the importance of community vigilance and the role of emergency services in maintaining public safety.
