SELANGAU – The Civil Defence Force (APM) Selangau responded to an emergency call on Friday, 3 April 2026, after receiving reports of an unconscious male patient at Rh. Umin, Sungai Nirai, Selangau.
The Selangau District Operations Control Centre was alerted by members of the public, prompting immediate mobilisation of the duty squad to the location. Upon arrival, the team found the patient in an unconscious state and carried out a quick assessment.
Initial treatment was administered at the scene before the patient was carefully placed onto a scoop stretcher and transferred into an ambulance. Throughout the journey, APM personnel closely monitored the patient’s condition to ensure stability.
The patient was then handed over to the Selangau Health Clinic for further medical care. The swift response demonstrated the importance of coordination between emergency services and healthcare providers in ensuring timely assistance during critical situations.
APM Selangau continues to play a vital role in safeguarding the community, responding to emergencies ranging from accidents to medical cases.
