SELANGAU – The Civil Defence Force (APM) Selangau responded to a call from the public on Saturday, 4 April 2026, to assist in rescuing a dog trapped beneath a house in Kampung Gerugu.
The Selangau District Operations Control Centre immediately mobilised its duty squad to the location. Upon arrival, the team discovered that the dog was unable to walk and had become stuck under the structure.
APM personnel carefully carried out the rescue operation, ensuring the animal was freed without harm. The dog was then handed back to its owner, bringing relief to the household and the surrounding community.
