APM Betong Assists Man with Weak Limbs, Hospital Confirms High Sugar

BETONG – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Betong District responded to a call for assistance on 6 April 2026 after receiving reports of a man experiencing weakness in his limbs. The incident was reported by members of the public, who requested immediate help in transporting the victim to hospital.

A team of four APM personnel was dispatched to the location to provide initial treatment. Upon arrival, officers found the man in a very weak condition.

Vital signs were checked, with results showing normal blood pressure and oxygen levels. Despite this, the victim’s overall state required further medical attention.

The man was promptly transported to Betong Hospital, where doctors conducted a more detailed examination.

Hospital staff later confirmed that the victim was suffering from high sugar levels, which contributed to his condition. He was admitted for further treatment and monitoring.
