The recognition serves as a formal gesture of appreciation by the government for the contributions of its workforce.

In his remarks, Abang Johari emphasised that the awards reflect the government’s gratitude for the sacrifices and commitment of civil servants, who play a vital role in ensuring effective governance and community development. He noted that such recognition strengthens morale and encourages continued excellence in public service.
