SELANGAU – The Civil Defence Force in Selangau responded promptly to an emergency call on Wednesday, providing crucial assistance to a patient in need of medical care.
The Selangau District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the call from members of the public requesting ambulance support at Rh. Roseline, Sungai Nirai. A squad on duty was immediately mobilised to the location.
Upon arrival, responders found the patient in a weakened state and reliant on a respirator at home. The team quickly transferred the individual into an ambulance, ensuring continuous monitoring throughout the journey.
The patient was safely delivered to the Selangau Health Clinic, where medical staff took over for further treatment. Officials confirmed that the operation was completed smoothly, with no complications reported.
Local authorities emphasised the importance of rapid response in such cases, noting that timely intervention can make a significant difference in patient outcomes.
