MATU – The Civil Defence Force in Matu successfully destroyed a wasp nest discovered under the roof of a house in Kampung Tian on Wednesday.
The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received an emergency call reporting the presence of the nest.
A team was immediately dispatched to the location, where the complainant pointed out the exact site of the infestation.
Responders prepared the necessary equipment before commencing the operation. Using insecticide spraying techniques, specifically Ridsect, the team managed to eliminate the nest effectively.
The situation was confirmed safe following the procedure, with no injuries or complications reported.
