JKR Sarawak Officers Honoured with Loyal Service Medals in Miri

MIRI – Officers from the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) were recognised for their dedication and long-standing service during the 2026 Miri Division Loyal Service Medal Presentation Ceremony, held on 24 April.

The event was officiated by the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, who emphasised the importance of acknowledging civil servants who have consistently demonstrated professionalism and integrity in their roles.

Among those present was JKR Sarawak Director, YBhg. Datu Adj. Prof. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Dr. Cassidy anak Morris, who joined the ceremony to celebrate the achievements of his officers.

Lau Pit Hwa, Senior Assistant Director of the Head of Project Team (HOPT) Branch; Stenley Kanyan anak Nawek, Assistant Engineer (Mechanical); Musa bin Mohamad, Security Assistant; and Connie anak Yamit, Administrative Assistant. Each officer was recognised for consistent performance and dedication in their respective fields.
