BAU – The Bau District Civil Defence Force (APM Bau) responded swiftly to an emergency call reporting a falling tree incident in Kampung Atas Singai during the early hours of Saturday, 25 April 2026.
The District Operation Control Centre (PKOD) received the alert at 1.43 am from members of the public, prompting immediate mobilisation of personnel to the site.
The incident was classified as a PT case, with officers dispatched to assess and manage the situation. Falling tree incidents are not uncommon in rural areas, particularly during periods of heavy rain or strong winds.
Such emergencies can pose risks to residents, property, and road users, requiring rapid intervention to ensure safety and restore access.
