Residents were reassured that the situation was under control, reflecting the importance of community vigilance and the readiness of emergency services in Sarawak.

Beehives in residential areas are not uncommon in Malaysia, particularly during fruiting seasons when trees attract insects in search of nectar.

While bees play a vital role in pollination and ecological balance, their proximity to homes can present dangers, especially to children and individuals with allergies.

Public safety agencies continue to advise residents to avoid disturbing nests and to immediately alert trained personnel when such situations arise.
