KOTA SAMARAHAN – The Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS) responded swiftly to a public complaint received on 27 April 2026, carrying out immediate cleaning and maintenance works to improve road safety in Taman Merdang Gayam.
The LA Serve MPKS team was deployed to address concerns raised by residents regarding trees obstructing drivers’ visibility at the Lorong 7 intersection.
In addition, fallen trees along the roadside shoulder were cleared to ensure smoother traffic flow and safer conditions for motorists.
Officials confirmed that the work was completed promptly, reflecting the council’s commitment to addressing community concerns and maintaining public safety.
No incidents were reported during the operation, and the affected areas are now secure for road users.
MPKS expressed appreciation to the public for their vigilance and cooperation in reporting issues that affect local safety and convenience.
