MUKAH – The Mukah District Civil Defence Force responded to an emergency call on 28 April 2026 after residents reported the presence of a snake outside a local premises.
The incident involved a green axe snake measuring approximately six inches in length. The team on duty arrived promptly and successfully captured the reptile using the pincer technique, a method designed to ensure safe handling and removal.
Authorities confirmed that the situation was brought under control without any untoward incidents. The snake was secured, and the area was declared safe for residents.
