Sarawak Governor Receives Courtesy Visit from IPCC Delegation

KUALA LUMPUR – His Excellency the Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, today welcomed a delegation from the Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC) at his official residence in the capital. The courtesy call, which took place at 3.00 pm, was led by IPCC Chairman Datuk Zolkopli bin Dahalan.

The delegation included Deputy Chairperson Martina @Kartina binti Zamhari, alongside Commission Members Dato’ Shukri bin Abdullah, Dato’ Othman bin Yusoff, Dato’ Kennedy Jawan, Dato’ Haji Alias bin Salim, and Tuan Haji Ruslan bin Atan.

Their visit was aimed at strengthening institutional ties and providing updates on the commission’s progress since its establishment in 2023.

During the meeting, Datuk Zolkopli outlined the commission’s role as an independent oversight body tasked with enhancing the integrity, accountability, and professional conduct of the Royal Malaysian Police.
