Officers also monitored places of worship and residences of VIPs to ensure safety and order were maintained.

During the operation, police inspected eight vehicles and checked 13 individuals. The patrol was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to prevent crime, particularly burglary and theft, in the Singai Zone.

Authorities emphasised that such measures are crucial in maintaining public confidence and ensuring that communities remain secure.

The Bau District Police highlighted that crime prevention patrols are a core component of their strategy to deter unlawful activities.

By maintaining a visible presence in villages and public areas, officers aim to reassure residents and discourage potential offenders.

Local communities have welcomed the initiative, noting that regular patrols help strengthen trust between residents and law enforcement.

The checks carried out during the patrol also serve as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and cooperation in safeguarding neighbourhoods.

Police reiterated their commitment to continuous monitoring and enforcement, stressing that patrols will be conducted regularly to address crime risks.

They encouraged residents to play an active role by reporting suspicious activities and complying with safety guidelines.

The Singai Zone patrol reflects broader efforts across Sarawak to enhance community safety through proactive policing.

By combining enforcement with community engagement, authorities hope to reduce crime rates and foster stronger ties between law enforcement and the public.

The Bau District Police Headquarters reaffirmed that maintaining safety and order remains a top priority.

Initiatives such as these demonstrate their dedication to protecting residents and ensuring that Bau continues to be a safe and harmonious district.
