An ambulance carrying four personnel was dispatched from the Sri Aman District Operations Centre to the location, which was approximately three kilometres away.

Upon arrival, the team discovered an adult man lying on a sofa, suffering from severe back pain that restricted his mobility.

The APM team carried out an initial assessment and provided assistance by carefully lifting and moving the victim using proper procedures to avoid further injury.

Once stabilised, the man was transported to hospital for a more thorough medical examination and treatment.

After handing the patient over to hospital staff, the Civil Defence team concluded the operation and returned to their base.

Officials confirmed that all personnel were safe and that operational equipment remained in good condition following the mission.

This incident highlights the crucial role played by the Civil Defence Force in responding to emergencies beyond road accidents and natural disasters.

Their ability to provide immediate support in health-related cases demonstrates the breadth of their responsibilities in safeguarding community welfare.

Health emergencies such as sudden immobility or severe pain can be particularly dangerous if left unattended.

Medical experts often stress the importance of seeking urgent care in such situations, as underlying conditions may require prompt diagnosis and treatment.

The quick intervention by APM ensured that the victim received timely medical attention, reducing the risk of complications.

Sri Aman residents have been reminded of the importance of contacting emergency services when faced with similar situations.

Authorities emphasise that early reporting allows trained personnel to respond effectively, ensuring that victims are not left without assistance.

The Civil Defence Force continues to serve as a vital support system across Sarawak, complementing the work of hospitals, police, and fire services.

Their readiness to act in diverse emergencies underscores their commitment to public safety and community resilience.

As the victim undergoes further medical evaluation, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of community vigilance and the value of coordinated emergency response in protecting lives.
