Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi Participates in Hari Raya Aidiladha Festivities

SEBUYAU, June 17 – Today, the Minister of Utility and Telecommunication, Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi, marked the auspicious occasion of Hari Raya Aidiladha with fervor and community spirit in Sebuyau and Sebangan. Embracing the significance of the day, he actively participated in various religious activities alongside local residents.

Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi commenced the day by performing the Aidiladha prayers at Al-Muflihin Mosque in Sebuyau. Subsequently, he engaged in the traditional ‘ibadah korban’, a meaningful Islamic sacrificial ritual, alongside fellow worshipers.

In a Facebook post, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join in the distribution of sacrificial meat to residents from nearby towns and villages, emphasizing the spirit of communal sharing and unity.

Later in the day, the Minister proceeded to Darul Iman Sebangan Mosque, where he continued to partake in similar religious rituals with the community members of Kampung Sebangan. He praised the strong sense of cooperation and harmony displayed by all participants throughout the ceremonies.

Among the dignitaries present were Sebuyau District Officer Ayuradiman Bujang, Sarawak Administrative Officer (SAO) Tahir Putih, SAO Ajis Ahmad, and respected local community leaders, who joined in the festivities, reflecting the inclusive and community-focused nature of the event.
