KUCHING – Forty residents of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) embarked on a scenic motorcycle adventure to the Batang Lupar Bridge on 22 July 2026, marking the celebration of Sarawak Day with a journey that combined recreation, camaraderie, and responsible riding practices.
The event was organised by the HDC Welfare, Sports and Recreation Club (KKSR) in close collaboration with the HDC Administration Division, aiming to foster stronger community ties among residents.
The convoy set out from Kuching, traversing the state’s highways and rural roads towards the iconic Batang Lupar Bridge. This landmark, known for its striking architecture and strategic location near the Indonesian border, served as the primary destination for the group.
