Tumbina Festival 2026 Little Star Competition Held in Bintulu

Tumbina Festival 2026 Little Star Competition Held in Bintulu

BINTULU – Young performers took centre stage during the 2026 Tumbina Festival Little Star competition, held on 9 August at Taman Tumbina Bintulu.

The Bintang Cilik Competition was organised as part of the 2026 Tumbina Festival, bringing together young participants to showcase their talents in front of an audience.

The event provided an opportunity for the children to demonstrate their confidence, creativity and performance abilities through their respective presentations.

Each performance added to the atmosphere of the festival, with participants displaying courage and enthusiasm as they took part in the competition.

Although the competition ultimately recognised a champion, the organisers highlighted that every participant deserved recognition for taking part and presenting their individual talents.

The performances also reflected the effort and preparation put in by the young contestants as they took to the stage during the festival.

The competition was held at Taman Tumbina Bintulu, where the 2026 Tumbina Festival was taking place.

Organisers described the young participants as having their own strengths and qualities, regardless of the final competition results.

The event was also an opportunity for children to gain experience performing in a public setting while taking part in a wider community festival.

Parents and guardians played an important role in supporting the young participants throughout the competition.

Their encouragement helped the contestants take part with confidence and gave them the support needed to perform before an audience.

The organisers also expressed their appreciation to the judges and secretariat involved in managing the competition.

Their contributions helped ensure that the programme could be conducted as part of the festival activities.

Acknowledgement was also extended to the collaboration partners and members of the wider community who supported the event.

The successful staging of the competition involved the combined efforts of the organisers, participants, families, officials and supporting parties.

The 2026 Tumbina Festival Little Star competition also served as a platform for young children to express themselves through performance and creativity.

Events of this nature can provide children with valuable opportunities to build confidence and develop their abilities while engaging with the local community.

For the participants, the occasion was not only about competing for the top position but also about gaining experience and sharing their talents with others.

The organisers congratulated all the young participants for their efforts and praised the qualities displayed throughout the competition.

They also extended their appreciation to everyone who contributed to the programme, from those supporting the children to those involved in organising and judging the event.

The Bintulu BDA Public Library, Bintulu Development Authority and Tumbina Bintulu were among the parties associated with the event.

The organisers said the support provided by parents, guardians, judges, secretariat members, collaboration partners and others was greatly appreciated.

The 2026 Tumbina Festival Little Star competition concluded with recognition for the winners, while all participants were acknowledged for their contribution to the event.

The programme added a youth-focused activity to the festival and gave children an opportunity to take the spotlight at Taman Tumbina Bintulu.
