KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Feb – Sarawak Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, have safely arrived in Kuala Lumpur to attend the 268th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers. The meeting will be held at Istana Negara from February 5 to 6.
Their flight landed at Subang Airport around 12.30 pm today. Wan Junaidi and his wife were warmly welcomed by officials upon arrival.
The Conference of Rulers is an important event that gathers the Malay Rulers and Governors to discuss matters related to national sovereignty, governance, and other significant national issues. This meeting serves as a platform to protect Malaysia’s Constitutional Monarchy system and ensure national stability.
Among the key topics expected to be discussed are matters concerning the well-being of the people, national unity, and the preservation of religious harmony in the country.
Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi expressed his hopes for a smooth and productive meeting. He stressed the importance of ensuring that the discussions will benefit the nation and promote the welfare of all Malaysians.
