APM Lawas Clears Out Fallen Tree Safely in Jalan Punang

LAWAS – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Lawas District responded to an emergency call on Sunday following reports of a fallen tree in Kampung Bukit Naga, Jalan Punang.

The incident occurred when a langsat tree collapsed onto the rear section of a house, believed to be caused by unstable soil conditions in the area. The MyASPA (Operations) 02 team, comprising four members, was immediately deployed to the site.

Upon arrival, officers assessed the situation and began cutting and clearing the tree to ensure the safety of residents. The operation was completed efficiently, with the area declared safe and secure.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident. The team returned to the Lawas PKOD after the operation, with all equipment accounted for and in good working order.
