Initial assessments revealed that floodwaters had begun to affect several parts of Tabut Skrang, particularly along Jalan Lidong, where multiple areas were impacted.

APM officers reported that while water levels had risen earlier in the day, subsequent surveys indicated a downward trend.

The unit’s swift response reflects the importance of district-level monitoring in rural areas, where rising water levels can quickly disrupt daily life and pose risks to residents.

Local authorities reminded the public to remain alert during the monsoon season, as sudden changes in weather can lead to flash floods in low-lying areas.

They encouraged residents to contact APM Lubok Antu directly at 083-584639 or use the national emergency hotline 999 for immediate assistance in any crisis.
