Wearing safety gear and using proper equipment, officers destroyed the nest with an insecticide spray. The operation was completed smoothly, and the situation was declared safe without incident.

Officials said such operations form part of APM’s ongoing efforts to protect public safety, especially in residential areas where wasp nests pose risks to families. The swift response ensured the threat was neutralised before it could cause harm.

Residents were reminded not to attempt removing nests themselves, as improper handling can lead to stings or severe allergic reactions. Instead, they are advised to contact authorities for professional assistance.

The Kuala Matu Hulu operation demonstrates APM’s proactive approach to emergencies and community protection. Quick responses help build public confidence in the force’s ability to manage safety hazards.

Local residents expressed appreciation for the prompt action, noting that the presence of APM officers provides reassurance when unexpected threats arise. The agency reaffirmed its readiness to respond to similar calls to keep the community safe from wildlife-related dangers.
